Mayra Villalba

Mayra Villalba has been a nurse for nearly 11 years, joining Baptist Hospital in 2016. She began on a Med-Surg/Oncology Unit, which introduced her to Palliative & Hospice Care. She then became a Palliative Care Educator and is now the Magnet Program Director at Baptist Hospital and Miami Cancer Institute. Additionally, she serves as Adjunct Faculty for the BSN program at West Coast University. Her diverse background allows her to enhance care for Palliative and End-of-Life patients in hospitals, classrooms, and the community.
